Our projects

Anasu
An augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) app for adults who speak little or not at all: a grid of tiles that speak with the device’s own voice. Tiles do not move, the app works without the Internet, and the boards stay on the device or in the person’s own Google Drive.
Run by WizIT — free app, account optional

WizMac Explorer
A file manager for macOS that keeps the habits of Windows Explorer: a folder tree on the left, cut and paste, undo, Delete for the Trash. For people who learned on Windows and now have to work on a Mac. Free for non-commercial use.
Developed by WizIT — free download (Apple Silicon)

Kim Scout
A series of adventure games where you explore, click and solve the surprises of everyday life: shopping, money, the bus. Kim, 23, has just moved in, and a deadpan pigeon keeps Kim company. Everything is read aloud, every idea has a pictogram, and a mistake gets an explanation, not a “you lose”. Two episodes are playable; a 3D view is being tried out.
Run by WizIT — free game, no ads, no account

Kotoba
An app that turns a letter, a photo or a recording into a document that is easy to read and understand (Easy Read, called FALC in French). A question asked in your own words gets an answer in Easy Read. Spoken reading, word by word, with no account to create.
Run by WizIT — pilot under way, no partner at this stage

NAKAMA
Development of a conversational AI companion to bridge the digital divide. The solution combines speech recognition adapted to atypical speech, an LLM to understand broken syntax, and multimodal interfaces.
Consortium: WizIT, FOVAHM, HES-SO Valais-Wallis (HEI, HETS, HEG)

LERNIT
An app that creates interactive learning scenarios with AI, without writing a line of code. The educator describes the situation to work on, the AI turns it into a scenario, then the educator corrects it and adapts it to the person they support.
Partners: HES-SO Valais-Wallis (HEI), HETS-FR, ART21, FOVAHM

PERILUDUS
A feasibility study on adapted video games. How to design game mechanics that are understandable without being patronising, and a game that stays playable without help from start to finish.
Supported by the Fondation pour la recherche en faveur des personnes handicapées

ATM Simulation
A learning app for withdrawing money that reproduces the screen, the keypad and the slots of a real cash machine. You slide the card in, type the code, take the banknotes — without risk. Web version: nothing to install, on a tablet or a computer.
Deployed for the FOVAHM (March 2022) — rewritten for the browser in 2026

Train Journey Simulation
A prototype of an immersive 3D simulation for learning to use transport. A study to confirm the technical, educational and budget feasibility of training in virtual reality.
Carried out for the FOVAHM (Dec. 2022)
Operational management for an association
An app to manage members, invoicing, expense reports and accounting for the Association Romande Trisomie 21.
Carried out for the Association Romande Trisomie 21
